Ondrej is by no means an athlete. He has struggled to keep fit most of his life. It wasn’t until the birth of his son that Ondrej began to make a change.
Ondrej started taking short runs around the neighbourhood with his son in a stroller, despite not having the genetics of a long distance athlete and suffering from asthma he slowly progressed into running a full marathon in 2015 (Stavanger marathon) and in 2017 finished a full marathon with his son (Karmøy marathon).
In the summer of 2018 Ondrej ran 850 km from Stavanger to Averøy (outside Kristiansund) to raise money for Alzheimer’s Research. Over 50 000.- NOK was raised which will help to someday find a cure. Find out more.
